The practical essentials.
The full booking terms follow below. Your written quotation remains the place to check the exact course, date, price, travel and any booking-specific arrangements.
How booking works
- You send an enquiry describing your venue, team size and what you want covered.
- FieldSafe Medical replies with a recommendation and written quotation, including any agreed travel costs.
- A training booking is confirmed once you accept the quotation in writing and a date is agreed.
- For face-to-face training there is normally a short organiser call beforehand so the session can be tailored.
Published training prices
- FieldSafe Essentials — approx. 3.5 hours, up to 10 participants: £395 plus travel expenses.
- Retreat Response — approx. 6 hours, up to 12 participants: £695 plus travel expenses.
- FieldSafe Ready — full-day leadership-focused training plus venue readiness review and written plan: £895 plus travel expenses.
- FieldSafe Annual Update — for teams that have already completed FieldSafe practical training; approx. 90 minutes live online, with in-person refreshers available by quote: from £225 per team. FieldSafe recommends a full practical renewal at least every three years.
- AED readiness review and blended delivery: quoted individually.
Prices are for the group, not per person, up to the stated participant limit. FieldSafe Medical is a sole trader and is not currently VAT registered, so VAT is not added unless that status changes and your quotation states otherwise.
Travel expenses
Travel is not included in face-to-face prices. Mileage or public transport, parking, tolls and reasonably required accommodation are quoted separately and agreed before confirmation.
Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in the quotation, an invoice is issued after delivery and is payable within 14 days. A deposit may be requested where significant travel or accommodation must be committed in advance.
Changing, cancelling or rescheduling a training booking
The normal notice periods and approach to charges are set out in the separate Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy. Where the written quotation contains a booking-specific term, that term will be made clear before confirmation. Consumer statutory rights are not excluded where they apply.
What the organiser needs to provide
- A suitable room with enough space for the practical work agreed.
- Access before the start time for setting up.
- Confirmed participant numbers in reasonable time.
- For readiness reviews, access to the relevant parts of the venue and somebody who understands how the site operates.
FieldSafe provides the agreed training manikins, AED trainers and course materials.
Participants
Practical training may involve kneeling, bending and performing chest compressions on a manikin. Participants can ask for reasonable adaptations without disclosing a diagnosis or private medical reason. Participants should normally be 16 or over unless separately agreed.
Certificates and scope
Participants who complete a course receive a FieldSafe Medical Certificate of Completion recording the course, date, duration and the learning outcomes and subject areas covered.
This Certificate of Completion is not an EFAW or FAW qualification. If a recognised workplace qualification is required by your organisation’s first-aid needs assessment, that requirement must be met separately through an appropriate recognised pathway.
FieldSafe Medical operates as an independent specialist training provider. It does not claim awarding-body accreditation or HSE approval. Organisers remain responsible for deciding what training their own needs assessment requires and for carrying out any provider due diligence relevant to their legal duties.
What the training is not
FieldSafe Medical provides emergency-response education for lay teams. It does not provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment or prescribing, and it is not a substitute for emergency services or medical care. Venue-readiness work is operational support and first-aid readiness planning; it does not replace statutory risk assessment, insurance requirements or professional advice where these are required.
Equipment recommendations
Where FieldSafe helps assess equipment needs or identify procurement options, any referral fee or commercial relationship with a supplier will be disclosed clearly. Recommendations remain based on the venue’s needs.
FieldSafe SOS
FieldSafe SOS is a separate £9 digital product with its own purchase, activation, privacy and end-user terms. The marketing website does not attempt to fold SOS into these training-booking terms. Final SOS consumer terms require professional review before public checkout is enabled.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that and to any mandatory consumer rights, FieldSafe Medical’s total liability in connection with a training booking is intended to be limited to the fees paid for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any mandatory consumer jurisdiction rights are unaffected.
